Thanks everyone so much for all you travel prayers! We arrived a couple of days ago and are in our temporary housing. It’s a multi floor apartment that suits us just fine. Our team field leader Todd Smalley is helping us with the search for a permanent place, transportation, visa application, school details for Bianca and Sofia…. so much to do!! We are overwhelmed at times but we know God is in this and He will see us through. Without Him, we would crash and burn… We attended a local church on Sunday, registered with the local authorities yesterday and today we will look at a place in an area nearby that will be available in early August.
We are very excited to learn that that we live literally down the street from our friend Carey who is a field leader for Greater Europe Mission. I’m praying to get connected to and partner with GEM and their outreach program to Muslim people here in Germany and France as a part of our ongoing ministry. The co-directors of Proclaim will be here in Kandern by the end of the week to help us with transition and to have strategic planning meetings .
Dawn and the girls are well but we are seeing that there will be big challenges with the girls and their transition. It was really tough on them to leave their friends and the routine they knew in the states. Your prayers in this area are so needed. Thanks!!
More soon… Hold the rope!!
In Christ,
Steve and Dawn

Yeay, TEAM! We love you all and are praying for you! Bianca and Sofia, I’ll be sending some pictures of you that I’ve taken over the ‘years’. Do you have anyone in particular that you’d like a picture of from church? Stevie, Kirk misses drum lessons already! Sooooo, how does THIS Monday sound? : ) Phil will be playing this Sun. (unless it’s ‘beyond his abilities’ ) Dawn ~ I never gave you back your heart-rate monitor! I guess I’ll have to fly over and give it to you : ) Thanks again for letting us share your trip with you!

Love you all! So glad to hear that you have arrived safely and no worries, we’re holdin’ the rope! Blessings to you all.
Randy, Tracie and Mariah C.
So glad to here that you’ve arrived safely. I know something that helps me when I missing loved ones that are far away, I look up toward heaven and when I see the sun or moon or stars I remind myself that it’s the same sun, moon and stars that my friend/family member is looking at. That helps me to feel a little closer to the ones I love. So excited to be on this journey with you. We’ll be praying. Be safe and stay well.
Blessings,
T.C.
Steve, Dawn, Bianca, Sofia…glad to hear you are in Germany and safe. We will contiue to hold you in our prayers; asking our Lord to give you peace, discernment, rest, and that you will begin to be blessed with a local body of believers that will surround your family with welcome and support. In His name, the Salluce’s.
